Yeah, all people should need to do is look at Mark Steven Johnson's credits.

He wrote Big Bully and Jack Frost and wrote and directed Simon Burch, Ghost Rider, and When in Rome.
He also wrote a script for Elektra that was dropped in favor of the script they did use for Elektra. I'm surprised he got any writing jobs after that happened.
