I think they've transferred the hate from Skylar to her because she's the one that's annoying.

Either the way she's chosen to play her, or just her natural acting makes me not want to watch the screen. I think a big part of the problem is lack of acting ability. Walt is liked because Bryan Cranston deserves every accolade he gets. IMo, Skylar is disliked because she's not engaging. Then if you play a wishy-washy character on top of that, the hate it gonna flow.
That said, any threat against her personally is unacceptable.
