She actually has a very good singing voice and if she made more mature choices with her songs she'd be impressive. I don't know if you've seen any of

her backyards sessions videos (which I've seen because my daughter adores Miley), but it's basically her singing classic songs with acoustic musicians. She does a version of Jolene that's impressive. She has a strong voice and an impressive range. She's just making horrible choices for songs and a long term career (though she is selling well).
