Damn, we had a monster storm come out of nowhere around 4:15. 60mph winds, golfball sized hail, heavy rain, thunder & lightning

Seriously, out of nowhere. It was 90F, calm, a few white puffy clouds. All of the sudden the sky went that weird greenish color (the color that goes with tornados which I'm very familiar with) and the wind blew a huge branch into the front of our house. Then the power went off. Actually, it pooped off and on 3 times before it stayed off. We started hearing stuff hit the windows so Crash went out to the porch and brought in huge chunks of hail. I went out with him and started looking for funnel clouds. It NEVER storms like this here. It lasted almost 45 minutes and the power didn't come back on until about 15 minutes ago. There are trees down all over the neighborhood and my neighbor's SUV has a broken windshield. The good part of this is that it tracked NNEand hit the Fairfield/Pine/Featherville and Trinity fires head on and its dumping a shit ton of rain on them right now. The weather guy says it'll hit the Ketchum/Sun Valley fires too. I hope so, if ssomething doesn't slow down these fires the state is going to have a nekkid band across it, right where the "thumb" starts.
