I've been having trouble with a package I'm supposed to be receiving - I'm not sure if the issue is with UPS or the company shipping it.

My pump supplies come from a medical supply company. I was supposed to have a shipment sent out on the 21st. I never received the normal email confirmation with tracking number, so I called the company on the 22nd. Called again on the 23rd - same thing. (They told me they had to wait for an authorization.) They said it was "waiting to be shipped" and that if I hadn't received an email by Monday then call back and they'd make sure it was sent out. On Monday I called and the automated system told me it had been shipped that day - I received the email with tracking number later that night.
I keep checking the tracking number - the status is still "Order Processed: Ready for UPS". "A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated."
So today I called the supply company back to find out what the issue was. Has it honestly been sitting in the warehouse for 2 days waiting to be picked up? The rep insists the package was picked up on Monday.
Is it possible that UPS hasn't updated their system, that the issue is on their end? I've never had trouble with UPS's tracking system before.
I'm nearly out of supplies. This is frustrating.
