Apparently getting an email from Verizon that you're wired for Fios doesn't actually mean you're wired for Fios. Ugh!

I've been begging them to install Fios for me for a very long time. They installed it for a business across the street from me a few months ago but it still wasn't available to me.
Yesterday I got an email telling me I'm now wired for Fios. I just called them and they said their records don't show that I'm wired yet and they'll have to speak with engineering... again. I went through this after they installed it across the street and nothing came of it. I got the run around and then told I'll have to wait, I'm on the list. What list? Is there a way they can check this so called list to tell me when my name will come up to get service? Nope, can't tell me. No clue. Just have to wait.
So I called them just now and basically got the same crap. They'll speak with engineering and see what's up and call me back. I'm not holding my breath.
