By some metrics, he sorta is.....

it's assumed that on the open market, a WAR is worth $6mil a year.

Last year, he was worth 3.2 WAR and this year, he's already at 5.2 WAR according to baseball-reference.

5 WAR a year is the $30m at this moment based on what baseball economics say it is. He's already there and you're not buying off many declining years, so at current prices, he would need to be worth 60 WAR over the next 12 years.

That's very much in his sights given his performance to date.
