Though there were many hilarious and creative entries, this one epic wins:
"At Richland Northeast High School, there are three best friends who have just started their first year of High School. They have been together since middle school and look forward to spending this year having fun and figuring out what they want in life. The names of the three best friends are Jessica Bow, Ruby Sanchez, and Natalie Hall. Being that they are afraid of this new place that they will eventually graduate from in four years, they decide to try out for the girls’ soccer team to get involved in some way. The tryouts are supposed to be held on the second Thursday of the new semester, but Natalie is just a tad bit nervous. She is shorter than the other two girls and has big thick glasses and thin, stringy hair. She is more on the shy side. On the other hand, Jessica is more on the goofy side and Ruby is more on the serious, but down-to-earth side. They all ended up still trying out for the girls’ soccer team and had to work together to do a warm-up drill. That drill was all about passing and making goals. Two of the girls worked on the drill together. It started with Jessica. She then kicked it to Ruby, who stopped the ball with her foot. She was measuring the goalies moves and as she kicked it the goalie jumped up and caught the ball midair. Can you guess who that person was? Yes, it was Natalie, the newly named goalie who was great at blocking others shots. They all cheered. It was a good year for Natalie."
