It has been 58 days since the bombing at Langley. 219 people died.
Brody is blamed by everyone except Carrie for the bombing. Carrie blames herself for not seeing it coming and believes Brody did not know about the bomb. She has gone off her meds, but is working with some "alternative medicine" doctor. She seems relatively stable so far, but is drinking and showing some of her usual OCD behavior.
Brody's daughter Dana attempted suicide, slit her wrists. She is graduating some kind of inpatient treatment program and returning home.
Saul has been named acting director of the CIA.
Congress is holding hearings trying to find out what happened. The CIA is not telling them everything and Congress is withholding funding. Saul is afraid they may just shut down the CIA.
