You never know. I emailed the company that manufactured my dehydrator - it worked fine for a month or two, then suddenly the trays became warped and

wouldn't fit together. I never used the high setting and hand washed the trays so I don't know why it happened. I couldn't find the receipt. I was told it wasn't a problem, they weren't that worried, and figured that customers were telling the truth. I sent it back (at my expense) and they sent me a new one (at their expense) within the week.
