USB 1.x throughput is between 1.5 and 12 Mbits. I think that should be enough for internet. -- nm

How slow? She doesn't play games or watch video and it's just for the internet (e-mail, FB, etc...).

Do you know how fast is your internet? She should be able to transfer a little below 1MB/sec, which isn't bad
