Oh, he's doing pretty good. Thankfully there don't seem to be any lingering issues.

We've got a follow-up appointment next week, and a battery of blood work for him to get done, but there hasn't been any issues since last week, and it doesn't seem to be affecting him anxiety-wise. He needs to work on some things, like his exercise (which is exacerbated by (as we just found out) calcium deposits on his leg muscles, which will require some physical therapy but hopefully not surgery.
If anything it reinforced to him that (in his own words) he's not ready to go yet, and so he needs to do more to keep himself healthy.
On another note, I wasn't sure if you'd seen my post, but the boys and I thank you so much for those discs, they've been a great addition to our nightly Infinity game hour!
