Quality defensive linemen can reverse the tide by wearing down offensive linemen and thereby pressuring the QB more than normal. A key to the strategy is for the defense to be most vulnerable in the 4th quarter when the game is on the line. Auburn wasn't. Plus, Dwyer had that fluke run that really felt like destiny.
