In response to ""But I can't imagine a worse showing by a team in week 1."" by Will Hunting

The team has never given up 49 points before. It should have been 56 if it wasn't for a Leon Lett moment.

They had no running scores because they didn't need to. Why run when you can throw at will? Like David said, this is a passing league.

The Ravens have faced Peyton Manning plenty of times before. He's owned them for the most part. Yet, his teams never scored in the 40s before.

Again, you're strawman-ing my argument into saying this means they'll be like this for the rest of the year. I'm not saying that.

What I am saying is this was historically bad. Peyton could have had a few more TDs had he wanted to, but John Fox chose to try and run the clock out. I saw that Buffalo/New England game. It wasn't as bad as this.

They had 5 TDs in the second half. They should have had 6, and could have had 1 or 2 more. This is not a shrug your shoulders kinda game. This is a game where you dissect exactly how Peyton exposed you this badly, and don't stop until you figure out a solution.
