I have a co-worker who has worked a deal w/her manager where she is able to work from home on Monday and Friday. On days she is in the office she is literally in my cube anywhere from 8 - 10 times a day asking questions, getting my opinions on stuff, needing info...etc. We are used to exchanging info and asking each other questions at work. We get along well when she's here and help each other and laugh a lot about work and life.
On Mondays and Fridays when she's home I send her maybe one e-mail a day which she may not answer at all. On the rare occasion that she does answer one of my e-mails it could be 4 hours or so after I sent it and she never uses a full sentence as a response. It's like I'm bothering her or something. Is she just being weird and standoffish (which is fine) or is she JUST NOT WORKING?

I always call it "working from home". She is not working -- nm

Kim(berly) does this when she "works" at home. It's maddening but I'm not allowed to change the precedent. -- nm

And as a sidenote, I am awful when I try to work at home.
