That's really tough to deal with. My brother-in-law had to deal with something similar. Looked for 8 months for a job here and finally got an offer

in New York that he felt he had to take. Now he has to uproot his family (they won't join him for at least 3 more months), including middle school aged kids who are just hitting their stride socially. Ultimately it will work out fine, but it's tough.
