having no income but unemployment is stressful as hell when you only have yourself to worry about, i can't imagine how brutal it is when you have dependents. at least i always knew somehow I would find something to keep me at subsistence level and didn't have to worry about supporting anyone but me.
and the prospect of me moving is a lot easier to think about without concurrent kids, too. this is tough enough as it is.
