1) Cutting Dwyer cost the Steelers the game. Redman was functionally atrocious and the other guy's football cost them automatic points.
2) Atlanta's kids in the secondary held up quite well all things considered. Ryan never was the same after he took the personal foul in the solar plexus. We played it safe and took a field goal there. That proved to be important. I was still impressed that we were in position to win the game, but Ryan missed Douglas on one play. Then, Jackson had the drop the next time. Overall, we played better than I was braced for in Peyton's return. I figured this was going to be like the post-Katrina game.
3) Chris Johnson needs all the painkillers in the world. Pittsburgh's defense absolutely destroyed him. And he STILL was in better shape than Roethlisberger, whose offensive line played like they hate him.
4) That was a brutal way to lose, Tim. I'm sorry.
4a) That was a cheap win but if any suffering fan deserves one, it's you, Krusty. Your team is undefeated!
5) Peterson must have had a strange game. We saw the stats on the bottom. He had 1 carry for 78 yards and a td. Then, he had 3 carries for 77 yards. Then, he had 5 carries for 77 yards and a td. So, he had four carries for -1 yards and a TD.
6) The Directv app works very well from our limited usage thus far.
7) Jack Locker was terrible most of the game yet oddly clutch on third down in the second half. The Titans have great wideouts and a solid offensive line yet I still don't think they are a playoff team unless his accuracy improves.
8) El Oso Blanco *owned* Cole Hamels today.
