I got mine tested.
basically, the French Canadian DNA is so strong, all of the other results are completely obliterated.
Me and my cousins would LOVE to know more about my father's ancestors, but as far as DNA goes, we need HIM to do the test. There are very few DNA males in our family. exactly six. THree of them have the same problem I do - our results are obliterated by the Quebecois. Out of the other three, I am barely in contact with my uncle and cousin. My dad is the only one.
he is very prickly. but I think I might be getting to him.
