role in keeping the Quebecois down under English Canadian rule. And this is a rule that targets religious minorities like Sikhs and Muslims. Sure, it seems like Christians are treated the same under this rule, but crucifixes are easy to hide under clothing. You can't hide a turban or a hijab.
