the people who carried this out, this crime against humanity. The Syrian version of the Pentagon, at 2pm so you're not just killing a janitor working the overnight shift (thanks Aaron Sorkin for getting something exactly right) -- but maybe actual people actually responsible.

We instead have a history of making a proportional response not be close to proportional. We kill a few grunts on the ground when the guys who gave the orders sit back in their palaces, feet up. Solving nothing.
