We didn't 'get' someone else, we were lucky that someone else stepped in after snubbing us at the UN.


I don't disagree that this is likely a net positive outcome and I am glad we avoided dropping bombs.

And I have no hate for Obama, but he really did paint himself into a corner, and now there's a big vibe of "you crossed a red line! Which means we'll kind of dither around for awhile until one of your not-completely-trustworthy allies goes through the motions of taking the bad things away."
