Again, my problem is with the notion that it has to be up to the US every time this question comes up

Unless I'm mistaken, America's goals have been met, and we didn't have to kill anyone this time.
I have been thinking of this Syria crisis as a kind of Lehman Brothers moral hazard. I question the idea that it's a good precedent for it to be up to the US every single time the west maybe wants to get bomby. I'm sorry.
