Act, without Congressional approval and people scream that he didn't get approval.
Act, with Congressional approval and people scream that it's none of our business and we went against the UN and that is bad.
Not act, and he's a pussy who doesn't care about a human right violation.
Get some help to diffuse the situation (whether asked for or just lucky) and he made us look impotent and made Russia stronger...and everyone screams about that.
I'm wondering what was the best course of action for him...cause he was fucked no matter what he did.
To me, you can't scream about Assad still being in power when the alternative (the rebels in this case) are probably just as bad. Then we've assisted the next generation's Al Qaeda. Yay for us!
I mean, what was the alternative that makes people say, "Wow, that was a great job by the President"? I submit that there wasn't one.
