We lead becuase we've led for the last 100 years. We've fought the good fight and have for the last 30 years, counted the elimination of WMD's as part of that good fight.
The world is not a safer place today by this outcome; and as the primary target for millions of people worldwide, the failure to punish Assad for using these weapons is a direct threat to us as a nation.
Now, this isn't only on Obama, he's played his part poorly after a decade plus of exhausting fighting, but we are what we are as a nation becuase we've believed for century+ that we are special, that we are able to lead the unleadable.
