at this point in his career, not really

he's not at the high point he was in the 80s and 90s where he had the clout to get anything he wanted to do set up at the studios
now he can do small, passion projects like "Shopgirl" but they will have to be independent projects and may take years to develop/produce.
for studio work, they will want safe comedies with as broad appeal as possible
