She's widely regarded as the best choice, better than Summers was

She's got a lot of Fed experience, has great forecasting skills, and is at least somewhat concerned about the plight of the unemployed.
If it weren't for Summers being Obama's buddy, I'd wager she's have already been nominated, but we'll see if Obama now picks someone else out of spite.
