I'm spending the first night in Vegas where it should still be warm, then about 3 nights in Kanab. Coming back we're planning a couple of nights at

Whitney Pockets, north of Vegas at the top end of Lake Meade. Last trip there was a storm coming in and we bailed after one night and didn't see everything we wanted.
On a college field trip some years back we were introduced to the 'falling man' petroglyph. In those days I wasn't able to climb to some of these sites so didn't see it. It's up a rock scramble, through a 'window," and out onto a ledge :) Maybe this trip.
