Just went on the market. There's an open house Saturday that I'm hoping they'll cancel. The house is smaller than the condo I wanted but probably just the right size for me. Parking is in a lot across the street. Supposedly I own the space but have to pay $10/month for maintenance. The house is completely move-in ready. And it's still walking distance to work, although from another direction. It's really close to MainStrasse, an entertainment district in town where there are lots of festivals year round. The current owner is OCD, according to our waiter at the restaurant my agent took us to for dinner. That's why the shirts in the closet were evenly spaced apart and the place was immaculate. And the street is very gay, also according to the waiter. He apparently knows most of the people on the block (the street is just one block long). My agent is hoping the waiter calls the guy and puts in a good word for us. (She knows the waiter well but not the seller.)
