sash and I bought flip flops end of season at wal mart in 2005 or 2006 for $4 per pair.

we bought two pairs each.
we talk often about the fact that if we could find our flip flops again, we would pay $50 for them. they're the best flip flops we've ever owned.
flip flops aren't junk footwear, necessarily.
