Also...keep sending out resumes...actually TRY to get a better job. If she can't respect the effort your making...you may have problems that can't be fixed. Seems to me she sees your "efforts" as half-hearted and only made to appease her.
And for fuck's sake...take her out, dumbass. Girls like to be woo-ed...even after you're married.
