you ever notice how pilots can be really bad and all over the place because they only have 22 minutes introduce characters and storylines

and probabilities about where a show can go while still trying to relay the tone? Brooklyn Nine Nine's pilot seemed to nail all of it. I'm looking forward to watching more.
