So we had a raccoon visit the yard last night.

That little fucker was hard to chase off.

I mean I even threw a rock in its general vicinity, at the fence about 2 feet from it because I didn't want to actually hit it and I thought the loud bang of the rock would scare it off. Nope. It actually went over to the rock to see if it was food.

I was eventually able to drive it off by banging a stick on the ground and it climbed up a tree and over the fence...until I heard a very agitated cat (sounded like Vader, the big patriarch of the backyard cats) and then it was right back in our yard and I had to chase it off in the other direction.
