I read this article in a local free newspaper about a consumer having to deal with Comcast and thought "Geez, this guy is dumb..."

After reading it, though, I had to take a step back and realize that he isn't dumb. He's just approaching Comcast from a layman's perspective. At this point, I've trained myself as to how to deal with them and what to expect. There's very little about what they do that shocks me. I know the game. For someone who's never had to deal with them, going into this is going to mess you up, and you're going to be shocked at every turn. I'm disappointed in myself that I've come to take this kind of poor customer service for granted. Yet it appears that this is exactly what Comcast wants you to do. We're just dogs that need to be whipped until we understand.
