The page below uses the phrase "the only exception," which is why I'm not sure. "The only exception is for grandfathered individual health insurance plans--the kind you buy yourself, not through an employer. They do not have to cover pre-existing conditions."
Their definition of grandfathered is more than just "the kind you buy yourself" -- it has to have been created before 3-23-2010.
