The last five minutes will stick with me forever when thinking about the gun control v. mental health care debate.

I'm in the camp of 'let's identify the mentally ill and treat them before they head for the gun store' rather than trust in the background check process, which failed us so recently with the navy yard shooter, who apparently sought mental health care long before he bought a shotgun.
But naturally I fear the increase in power to have someone committed or forcibly medicated based on another human's fallible opinion. Which could be easily abused... I just imagine the last couple minutes of that movie in the context of 'what if Jude Law was just a dick?'
