That's what happened with my federally-employed MIL back in '95 and '96. My federally-employed wife worries about shutdowns, but I don't know why. Bring on the paid vacation.

It's not paid. Paid indicates you get money during the time. Your bills aren't being delayed; BoA still expects their mortgages to be paid. - Will Hunting Sep 24, 13:11
