that feel this way. My in-laws all believe this. I had dinner with a client last night who believes this. It's a very myopic view of the world that views government as something that should (a) operate like a business, and you can't keep spending more than you make as a business, and (b) is convinced that there's waste everywhere. Massive waste. That most welfare recipients are lazy and likely cheating the system. And that doesn't want to pay another dime in taxes (and continued deficits means they will come for their tax moneys at a higher rate eventually).
