They're designed to create anger where there's no need for it.

Bottom line, sports players get paid so much because they help generate 100 times what they're getting paid. And because only a handful of people can do what they do. Is it as important as saving a life, teaching our children or defending the country? Of course not...

But the day a teacher is part of a 53-man team that generates hundreds of millions of dollars, they'll get paid the same. It sucks, but it's the truth...and trying to get people outraged about it is manipulative and counter productive.

All of the above, IMO.

Still...the Rams guy should be cut for being a douche.
