avg salary is 40k a year, league minimum in baseball is $480k.
A year in baseball is legitimately an average person's decade.
Really though, they get about 50-58% of revenues depending on the sport...when the sports are worth 3-9BILLION a year...thats'a lot of money to split amongst a few hundred players.
