I had a great "wait, what the hell am I saying?" moment Sunday when we were going to meet Mel & Diva

I was explaining to Abby that Mel & Diva were really good friends of mine, but that I'd never met before.

She was really intrigued by this, so I explained to her that they are people that I've met online, that we've known each other for a long time and we know a lot about each other. So, it was going to be fun to be meeting these people that I've only known from talking to them online.

There was a pause when I realized what I had just told her, followed by....

"***and this is something that you should never, ever, ever do yourself!!!***"

("Yes, child of seven years, it's perfectly fine to arrange to meet internet strangers as long as they know a lot about you first.")
