the first few episodes seem to go at breakneck speed...Eddie king, no he's not now, yes he is...Whoa, his adviser turned on him (why?), etc Also, Eddie met a girl, shagged her and married her in like 2 episodes.
I think that's the way modern TV needs to write. They need to hook an audience in 1-3 episodes so stuff has to move at MTV speed. But once they get picked up for another season they slow the pace down. Now that they've done that it's more interesting.
