So the reunion last night went pretty well, save for there not being any actual alcohol. The food only would have been worth 3 hours of awkward

silence.

It was a Mediterranean buffet, starting off with a spinach salad with tomatoes, feta, and pomegranate, and like a creamy caesar dressing with more feta. Then there was a delicious tomato based orzo dish, and fresh veggies, mini yellow and green squash, brussel sprouts, and baby sprouts. There was a stuffed mushroom dish, but I avoided that like the plague. The star was the seared beef dish though. Perfectly seared, cooked medium rare, with this delicious green garlicky spread. I had two helpings, plus some of Ashlee's that she couldn't finish.

All in all it was a good night, and I got to meet some of Ashlee's friends from her college years; she's FB friends with most of those we were sitting with, so I knew of them, but they are...an interesting bunch in person.
