See, this is why you never say "ever" or "never" or "always". 1930's for the GOP was pretty damn bad

especially given FDR came in and turned around the panics. When you have less than 100 members in a 431 seat body..you're a broken party.
The Senate had a period of time in the 30's where they had 67+ Democrats...
