The Republican tactics are deplorable, but that doesn't excuse the Dems' behavior of hoping they get blamed, and doing nothing.

Neither side has the country's best interest at heart on this shutdown issue. They're thinking of their own political gain.
Eventually, they will compromise. The government won't shut down forever, and both side know, relatively, where those compromise will come from.
