I'm on this side. After college, my friendsd convinced me to backpack around Europe. The idea was, if not now, when you can, when will you?

If you have the means and the time to do that now and it's something you truly want to do, then do it.
Otherwise, things come up, life changes and you will be in a scenario where it may not be as easy to do.
Enjoy your life.
