1) Just because it isn't dangerous doesn't mean it should be given. There is no longer any indication to give it. Hence it was discontinued.

Yes, it was a standing order but that was an error. Since it is an error it gets reported and looked at. What if next time a more dangerous medication isn't removed and given. I am not blaming her for giving the med. I am however really annoyed that she would go behind our senior and ask other members of the team who aren't aware of the situation for an order.

Either way, the albumin should not have been given. If my team member would have agreed and written for it then my team member would have made an error given that it was clearly documented in a consult note 3 days ago that albumin should not be given (hence it was d/ced).
