I remember before I used an average of say a month's worth of tips and multiplied it out by 12. I seem to recall it didn't change much on the 1040 forms stating how much I got as a refund.

Obviously there are a mere few who probably do this correctly.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to want/need to go to some professionals with this.
