If you're comfortable with her, I'd definitely tell her you're interested in buying a unit in the building, especially since the seller's agent lives

in it. Of course he's going to make everything sound fantastic because he's getting a monster commission every time he sells a unit. You need a person to stand up for you and negotiate the best deal possible. She can also negotiate "finishes", quality level of appliances, and even stuff like the seller replaces windows for more energy efficient models, etc. Honestly, you should get her aboard (or someone else) asap so you have someone looking out for your interests and making sure don't accidentally make a commitment that you didn't want to make.
