We have a new Tall in the building. He's easily 6'8" if not taller.

When the Revolution starts he's going to be the first one to go. He may be a very nice guy but once the arrows start getting flung we're going to use him for a battering ram.
As for all of what's happening here...we're undergoing a massive revolutionary change in our IS structure centered around standardizing multiple systems into 3 or 4 core systems across 10+ hospitals (various institutions being brought up in phases however).
The first big deadline is in July and I think Upper Management just realized how understaffed the project is. It's a panic wave if Hiring. It'll be interesting to see if they can fill the positions and with whom. My guess is that they'll get a bunch of compliant and eager kids out of college who will work like draft animals for cheap and not say anything contradictory. That's fine. I'll be here to clean up.
